Suggested Feeding Rates

Cattle

  • Feedlot: 3 – 6 kg/head/day
  • Supplementary: 1 – 3 kg/head/day
  • Dairy: 2 – 4 kg/head/day as part of a grain ration

Introduce gradually over 14–21 days. Always provide roughage.

Sheep

  • Maintenance: 200 – 500 g/head/day
  • Finishing lambs: 400 – 800 g/head/day
  • Ewes (late pregnancy): 300 – 600 g/head/day

Introduce gradually. Ensure adequate roughage intake.

Pigs

  • Growers: Up to 40% of total ration
  • Finishers: Up to 50% of total ration
  • Sows: Up to 30% of total ration

Supplement with protein source and minerals as needed.
